Creative Journey

My passion for art began in primary school. I remember watching my brother draw and feeling an excitement I couldn’t shake. Soon, I found myself sketching and copying cartoons from storybooks like The Princess and the Frog and Tinkerbell. My friends admired my drawings so much that some even stole them, a small sign that my work carried value.

Creative Art quickly became my favorite subject, where I consistently scored 9s and 10s out of 10. But my love for art came with a cost; I focused so much on drawing that I neglected other subjects, and I repeated three times. It wasn’t easy, but my brother gave me the best advice: “If you want to grow in your creative field, you must also dedicate time to your other subjects.”

I took that advice seriously. I worked hard on English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and more, eventually excelling and passing to Senior High School. SHS gave me a new platform to grow creatively. One of my biggest goals was to draw humans so realistically that they looked alive. I practiced portrait drawing and shading, and I achieved it, even impressing others during my orientation.

After SHS, my journey led me to university, where I studied Graphic Design and discovered the power of brand identity. It was here that my passion evolved beyond personal art into using creative means to tell stories, my own and those of people and brands around me.

Today, that passion lives on through OP CREATIVES, where I channel my journey, skills, and vision into helping others express their ideas with impressive, impactful visuals.
